In today’s episode, we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Priyank Trivedi, a Road Safety Researcher and Auditor. Priyank started the conversation with the findings from a World Bank Project he had worked on, shedding light on the alarming lack of knowledge about road signs and inadequate pedestrian infrastructure in India and highlighting the absence of a comprehensive road safety system and its low priority. The conversation explores possible solutions, emphasizing local language awareness campaigns and integrating safety education into the curriculum. The need for political leaders and social media influencers to champion the cause is emphasized, along with the importance of road safety experts in decision-making.
